Alison Shearer is a print maker based in Aberdeen, she runs Mint Lino Prints and is also the founder of Shop Small Aberdeen (@Shop_Small_Aberdeen). She creates quirky and thought-provoking handmade lino prints and cards. Each print is hand drawn, hand cut and hand printed in her home studio in Aberdeen. Alison's business focus is small print runs which are exclusive and high quality.
Her prints are inspired by many sources, she loves being outdoors and exploring, particularly by the sea. Plants, animals and naturally recurring patterns fascinate Alison. Her prints are based upon things she has seen, often photographed and that have made her stop and think.
Alison is passionate about community and collaboration and helps to promote over 20 local makers via her growing community Shop Small Aberdeen.
