// Celebrating queer joy and Aberdeen’s LGBTQIA+ community //

21•4•23

CRACK is a celebration of the LGBT+ community, where people come together to socialize, and express themselves freely without fear of judgment or discrimination. It is a space where queer culture is celebrated, and everyone is welcome regardless of their gender identity or sexual orientation.

Our club night will feature the hottest creatives in town! We will be spinning the latest and greatest tracks from the LGBT+ community and beyond. The music will be a mix of genres that cater to the eclectic tastes of the queer community, from disco to techno, pop to hip hop, and everything in between. Expect a night with plenty of opportunities to let your hair down and be yourself.

As part of the night, we want to support intersectionality, which recognizes that people have multiple identities and experiences of oppression or privilege. This leads to more inclusivity and diverse advocacy & support for all members of the community. Working together helps us, the queer community, to unite in solidarity with other marginalized communities, which strengthens the fight against oppression and discrimination.

During CRACK we invite you to wear anything that suits your style from drag to leather, glitter to goth. The focus is on self-expression and individuality, and everyone is encouraged to be themselves. So, the dress code for the event is ‘anything goes’. Whether you want to be bold and adventurous or subtle and understated, there is no wrong way to dress for this event.

In addition to music and fashion, queer club night will feature performances by drag icons, and artists who embody the spirit of queer culture. These performances will be a celebration of diversity, creativity, and self-expression.

CRACK is not just about partying; it is about creating a sense of community and belonging. Aiming to provide a safe space for queer people to connect with others who share their experiences and celebrate their identities.

Whether you’re looking for a night out with friends, or just want to meet new people and have a good time, our queer club night is the perfect place to be. So, grab your dancing shoes, put on your favourite outfit, and get ready for a night of “Queer Joy” during CRACK!

This night is also a fundraiser for local charity @4pillarsuk who work tirelessly to support our local LGBT+ community across the Grampian region. We also want to get you in a celebratory mood ahead of @grampianpride.
