The Common Jayis a paper based stationery and planner supplies shop founded by Jacqueline Briggs. Graduating from DJCAD studying Illustration in 2016, she has continued this passion and is currently working from her studio in Wasps Creative Academy, Inverness.
Seeing art as a means to explore the world, she takes inspiration from nature, culture and current events aiming to encapsulate this in a small way through her work.
A lover of planning and journaling, she created ‘The Common Jay’ as a way of combining her love of stationery and illustration. With a focus on traditional as well as digital drawing and painting, she enjoys working with bold colours and patterns to create lively designs.
