Natalie is a very creative person with a passion for all forms of Art. The continual investigation of art and the world around her feeds into her practice, allowing Natalie to continually make and learn, providing great joy.
Natalie graduated from Gray's school of Art in 2014, with a BA (Hons) in 3D design, specializing in ceramics and currently lives and works in Aberdeenshire. Natalie is continuously inspired by the rugged yet majestic nature of Scotland. Her work includes tree inspired Raku vases, the culturally iconic highland cows or knows locally as coos, as well as a range of Raku broaches and necklaces inspired by and celebrating the Pictish past of the Northeast of Scotland.
Mud and fire is Natalie’s medium of choice. She works with clay, stoneware and enjoys experimenting with black clay to create texture. She has a love for Raku firing and bringing the outdoors in.
