The Grey Hill was founded by Barry Robertson, based on the question 'What does theatre look like without a building'?
We work with Playwrights to take new and existing work and transform it into the digital market, making it available to international consumers. We licence our content to venues, supporting their digital content for local audiences allowing more people to take part in theatre and making it more accessible to a broader audience.
As an organisation, we have experience in producing theatre, publishing books and audiobooks as well as the distribution films and live theatre recording. Our content is currently Scottish, or UK based for international audiences and businesses to access our work.
Theatre needs to adapt to change, and we are a company based in Scotland at the forefront of that new way of working.
