biog
Suzann Ross is a visual artist based in the North East of Scotland. Since graduating Gray's School of Art in 2017, She continues to explore and expand her practice from a studio in the Northern Arts Club.
Suzann works within the themes of cataloguing and archiving, exploring the existence of the material archive and its relevance as society transforms from analogue to digital. How information is deciphered and collated is central to her research.
Her practice deconstructs and re-configures source material through collage.
This process of translation allows the relationship between text, image and colour to be explored creating a visual story.
Suzann’s Work has been exhibited at RSA-NC in Edinburgh, ACT, BP Atrium gallery and GHAT in Aberdeen. She has also exhibited as part of a collective throughout Europe.
