Create Networks

Create Networks

The Northeast of Scotland is full of incredible creatives who are working in all parts of the creative sector across a huge geographic footprint that is connected in a multitude of ways for different purposes. Creating, developing and supporting these networks is one way of nourishing creativity. Working with Creative Scotland, Look Again are keen to understand the value of networks for creatives, particularly how you stay connected, for what purpose, and how we can provide the right kind of support.

Building on the strengths of the Create Networks programme we delivered over 2020-21, we are delighted to have received further support from Creative Scotland for a second phase.

The Create Networks programme exists to ‘help organisations, creative businesses or creative practitioners create new, or develop existing, local creative business networks in Scotland....through knowledge sharing, peer-to-peer networking, and business and market development support’. (Creative Scotland)

To do this, we have funded 7 networks across Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Angus, Moray, Orkney and Shetland to develop networking activity that nourishes their creativity, helping networks to stay connected and grow.

A sharing event will take place on 5th July in the form of an Art Pints event, allowing the funded groups to share how they used the award to support their creative network - find out more information by clicking the button below.
